Press the LOCK button on a working remote 5 times at 2 second intervals.

Turn the ignition to the ON position. Wait for ignition chimes to stop.

Using the working remote, press/hold the UNLOCK button for 4 to 10 seconds; during this period, press the PANIC button for 1 second and release both at the same time.
A chime will sound within 3 seconds to show entry into programming mode.

Within 30 seconds of the chime, press and release the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously on the new remote, then press and release just the UNLOCK button.
A chime will sound for successful programming. Repeat for additional remotes, if any.

Turn ignition to OFF and remove key to exit programming.

Fasten the seat belt & close all doors. Turn ignition to the ON position.

Using the working remote, press/hold the UNLOCK button for 4 to 10 seconds; during this period, press/hold the PANIC button too. When a single chime is heard, release both buttons.
You are now in programming mode.

Press and release the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously on the new remote. A chime will sound. Within 4 seconds of hearing the chime, press/release any button on the same remote. A chime will sound for successful programming.
Repeat for additional remotes, if any.

Turn ignition to OFF and remove key to exit programming.

STAR connector is left of the steering column, behind the lightswitch. Pull off left side panel, and you'll see it. Snake the cable up from the bottom or through the hole on the left side of the dash.

Cannibal is our only programmer that mentions Viper.

A regular GEN4 Tombstone prox may be used, but:

For 2013-2014 models, only the black proximity fob was used and it didn't affect the horsepower.
For 2015-2017 vehicles, the black fob limits the actual horsepower of the vehicle, while the red fob allows the engine's full horsepower.
